Joe Biden’s outrage at what he terms the assault on democracy following the protests in Washington is pure hypocrisy. The real assault on democracy in fact was started by his party four years ago, when the Democrats refused to accept the election result and spent the entire Trump Presidency trying to reverse it, sparing no effort in attempting to unseat the duly elected President. The same people supported weeks of mayhem, looting, burning of cities and murder by racist Antifa and BLM groups. The mainstream media, which is now criticising the pro-Trump demonstrators, kept referring to the Democrat supported riots as “peaceful demonstrations”. It is frightening that these extremists will have total control of the US government, the Presidency and both houses of Congress. The Democrats will assure that the division of America that they helped create will continue and that the once great country in which people like Martin Luther King fought and achieved true justice and equality for all, will once again become a racist entity. The lunatics have truly taken over the asylum. The worry is that this is not some insignificant country, but a major power that until now has ensured the safety of the West.
