Mainstream media including the BBC never misses an opportunity to spread antisemitism. At Christmas time in a program the BBC followed some newspapers in making the false claim that Jesus Christ was a Palestinian Arab. This lie was started a handful of years ago in an attempt to write Jews out of the history books, and has been promoted by US Senator Rashida Tlaib, whose only purpose in Congress seems to be to spread antisemitism. Records from the time not only show that Jesus was a Mizrahi Jew, the area in which he lived was called Judea after the native Jews who lived there. The area was renamed Syria Palaestina by the Romans 100 years after Christ. Arabs arrived in the area 600 years later as colonisers with the Muslim conquests. Today’s Palestinians are Arabs who renamed themselves as Palestinians in the 1960s. To the left-dominated media facts are irrelevant. This is more than of mere academic interest; this spread of antisemitism into the mainstream is similar to the prelude of the Holocaust in 1930s Europe.
