The island nation of Taiwan is now being harassed on a daily basis by Chinese fighter jets which cross the unofficial border between the two states, in an effort to wear down the small nation which has to be on constant alert and respond by scrambling its own jets, a stressful and expensive exercise. Although communist China has never ruled this land, the chairman of China has made it his personal mission to conquer the island, a successful peaceful and wealthy democracy. Taiwan is vastly outgunned by the Chinese military. If the world turns its back on this nation, like it did with Tibet, the oppression that was seen in Tibet and Hong Kong will ensue and China will be emboldened in its imperialist aims.
