The World Health Organisation has come under criticism due to its handling of the Corona virus pandemic, which many nations claim is marred by politics, yet this is nothing new. Like all UN organisations, it has long been political, however this has been ignored until now. In its lowest moment the WHO issued a report with a libellous claim that Israel was deliberately poisoning Arab water wells. Even at the beginning of the current pandemic the WHO has ignored both Israel and Taiwan. The WHO’s dealing with China is the only thing that has raised attention internationally, which is problematic in itself. Despite its general good work, the WHO, like all other UN organisations and the UN itself, should be disbanded and replaced by an impartial body.
