PD is not downplaying the seriousness of the infection, especially for those who have died from it, however this is not the end of the world, as Nobel Laureate and Stanford Professor Michael Levitt explained in an interview with CTech. Using mathematical modelling he correctly predicted that in China there would be a short spike and the number of cases would then fall.
